Happy with Tax prep results.

First time user of Turbo Tax Business. Had a successful outcome. I do have one suggestion...When Trust ID is needed to be input, have spacing for a TIN, which Trust use, instead of Social Security Number spacing. Your consultants available via phone were VERY helpful and I appreciated their help.

Needs improvement

Needs better communication with Quickbooks. It's a problem every year. Quickbooks payroll expenses include company payroll taxes. Problem separating or identifyingthe Officer's wage. QB and TurboTax are both Intuit, you would think that they'd communicate better.

TT was thorough but too much for my small business. I'll change from a LP to sole Prop and use TT home & business next year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Wouldn't use anything else!

I've been using Turbo Tax or Pro-Series for 30 years and wouldn't dream of using anything else. from 1991 to 2011 I had my own accounting and tax business and used Pro-Series exclusively. When I retired from my business in 2011 and jumped into real estate I continued to use Turbo Tax for all my business and personal returns. It just is so easy to use and flows so nicely. Since I have an accounting background I don't use the step by step but have my grown son now using that with no accounting background and he's able to use it easily.

Spotty data transfer from Federal to State Forms

Not the quality I have come to expect from Turbotax. For some reason not all the data from the federal return made it into the state forms requiring manual addition and overriding the final review process

File Naming Conventions

Please choose a different file name extension for Business TurboTax and Personal TurboTax. This way I can double-click on the tax file and the corresponding program will load. For example, the file name extension this year is the same for both programs: *.tax2019
