TurboTax Business gets easier to use every year

Importing from last year's return and from QuickBooks saves a lot of time as you do your tax return.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

the state corp tax return did not compute the state income tax automatically...i had to look it up by calculating the net income and looking up the state income tax rate.

I paid an extra $55 to download the state add on only to find out that you can not use Turbotax to complete an electronic file in Indiana.

Civic duty easily fulfilled.

I'm a technologist, my admin skills frankly stink. Had I only discovered TurboTax years ago it would have saved me eeeenormous stress. This year, I got my Federal and State taxes filed and paid within a couple of hours. Yes it will actually be a pleasant experience to see the funds auto-transferred out of the checking account, because a) at least it's on time this year, and b) taxes are the price tag for civilization, and c) in this year of a major pandemic and an election, civic duty is more important than ever: following public health guidelines, voting in November, and of course paying our taxes.
The bottom line is: If you're in the geek/nerd trades, or any skilled trades, in biz for yourself and/or with friends, and your tech/trade skills are strong but your admin skills stink (or for that matter if your admin skills are excellent), save yourself a heap of stress, pay for TurboTax rather than paying late penalties, get it all done in a few hours (personal and biz, federal and state), and you'll be so happy you'll want to go out for pizza (but take-out or delivery will be just as good). Cheers!
