Getting better, but search is awful

TurboTax team, you need to improve the entire search feature and make it federated to search for everything and anything typed into the Search field. I spent hours looking for forms, amounts, terms, words - only to be stumped by search results that were useless. You can do better.

1065 k1 tough to enter info

Pretty cool, but non intuitive. Need help 1099B, 1065 K1, like the subsequent window entries not matching forms, does not explain how to, or add what figures to calc the entries. Also, makes you make selection and then cannot, enter the items on reporting form. Have to enter twice for both box 1 and 2 or 3 entries, then what to do about all the other boxes which to include for one or both very confusing.

A real time saver

I've been using TurboTax (both the Personal and Business versions) for years now. They both simplify access to IRS information and forms needed, the calculations required, steps for e-filing, keeping copies for my records, etc. TurboTax is a great help in maximizing deductions and streamlining tax filings.

Quickbooks Online compatibility issues

You can't use Turbo Tax without downloading your Quickbooks Online info into the desktop version (took over 10 attempts this year) and then you have to clean up so much of the info from the transfer. What a mess. Last year wasn't great but this year it was especially bad.

I find it too complicated not to use Turbo Tax otherwise.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Used to love TT, but too many issues this year.

I've been using Turbo Tax for more than a decade. It used to be a very solid, reliable product, but in the last few years it's gone steadily down hill. This year, I had to talk with customer service several times just to get the program to work correctly. Took me 2 months to file instead of a few hours like in years past.
