Ok, but confusing

I like turbo tax, but filing for my LLC for the first time was confusing and tedious. I need more education on the ins and outs. It is extremely different than filing a personal return. Unless I can increase my knowledged about filing for an LLC, I may leave that to a professional so that I get it right, then maybe come back to turbo tax once I learn more.

Efiling function is the way to go so that IRS receives the return without relying on the error prone USPS!

bumpy but seems to work in the end

The application had a really annoying infinite loop in the "about your business". It just looped on a few items. I didn't resolve the loop but I found some help from a user online that wrote to manually check mark something about real estate in the "show topic list". That finally allowed me to get to forward to federal taxes

I had to pay extra for the NY state and then it would not even let me e file. I have to mail it. It does not even give me personal federal and state tax forms.

Not as good as personal program

Good at keeping track of year to year data, like depreciation, but couldn't attach the signature document to do an efile, and year after year, there is no District of Columbia program. So I rate it as mediocre, even though I slog my way through using each year.

This is awesome as someone who's been paying a CPA

I was a little skeptical at first because taxes can be crazy, but I also feel CPA's know a lot of people feel that way also and SOME even though CPA's can be life savers and save you tons of money with what you do... it's def one of those business where more people then you think can do it but there is a high degree different in what people charge.
So what they do is the same for all businesses so them charging the same for all businesses make sense from that point of view, but what doesn't make sense also is those who just have little small businesses made for tax purposes for the little side hustle we do. So this "business" isn't really like anything, it's not even bigger then your mom and pop haircut store, they get and do more business then I do really.
So.. when your CPA is charging you $1200 you do your business taxes each year... I probably should of done this sooner but I'm still glad I waited and had a good basis to start with.

TurboTax Business made it easy!
