Worked well!

I think it went well. Filling an estate return is a little tricky.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

12 Years in a row!
on July 13, 2020

I had a large loss last year, but received the insurance after Jan 1 this year. Typed in a Turbo Tax request for advice before I started the return, and got a call back in 5 minutes with an answer to all my questions. I shall return next year.

A lot of problems
on July 13, 2020

The program has a lot of problems when importing data from Quickbooks. You would think that they would be really good at this. You would be wrong. Many of the items imported got duplicated in the underlying forms which took hours to find and correct. The support people they have are great but the product itself needs a lot of work.

QBO Integration is a must have not nice to have
on July 13, 2020

You really need to integrate with QBO. The idea that I have to export to QB Desktop - then download a free one week trial of QB Desktop - and then upload it into QB Desktop, THEN have QB Desktop populate the Turbotax Business P&L is *absurd*. It's your own darn product (QBO) - INTEGRATE WITH IT. Also, it would really be helpful to have better documentation/customer education about how the QBO balance sheet/P&L will differ from the Tax basis BS/P&L and what that means for the company going forward.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, I had a baby
