Great but confused

Great program. Loved it but slightly confused if I filed my state taxes or not. I thought at one point that I couldn't file them electronically, but now I am not seeing a place that indicates if I need to print them, and if so then who I need to send them too.
What's great about it: Quick, easy to use
What's not so great: Don't know if I filed my state taxes

Minor problem with misreading question
on February 28, 2019

I've successfully used TurboTax Business for my C-Corp business for 18 years without the need for an accountant or tax professional. This year I had a problem with misunderstanding the wording of Schedule K, question 24 which is due to the IRS' wording. Correcting that answer fixed the problem. Thanks TurboTax and TurboTax Answer Exchange!

Got it done.

Turbo Tax does it again for us! It is much less costly than hiring a CPA for our small start-up and I still feel that all of our tax reporting is thorough and complete.
What's great about it: Step-by-step guidance in plain English.
What's not so great: Got trapped in going in circles.
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy for nonaccountant
on March 1, 2019

I'm not an accountant, but with bookkeeping experience, turbotax makes it easy for me to do. I wish quickbooks and turbotax would have the same categories in their default though. I find myself having to change categories--one year everything will pull over perfectly...every year I adjust a few more categories...
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: default not matching

Shareholder Entry
on March 1, 2019

I have two shareholder that have different equity split from Income. Why not carry all the shareholders data into the Loss and Equity Sheet. Then I can alder just the 2 instead of entering everybody's data over
What's great about it: Better than last year

NOT EASY AT ALL
on March 2, 2019

NOT AS EASY TO USE AS I HAD HOPED FOR THE MONEY I PAID. ALSO PAID AN ADDITIONAL $64 FOR STATE BUT THE SOFTWARE DIDN'T WORK, EVERYTHING WAS $0 WHICH DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT AND IT WONT SAVE OR PRINT SO I CAN MAIL THE RETURN BECAUSE YOU CAN'T EFILE THAT RETURN. SO NOT SURE WHAT I WILL DO ABOUT THAT. ALL TOGETHER, NEVER USING TURBO TAX AGAIN, NOT WORTH THE $175 PAID, I FEEL LIKE THINGS ARE NOT DONE CORRECTLY AND THAT IS A BAD FEELING TO HAVE WHEN IT COMES TO TAXES
What's great about it: E FILE
What's not so great: EVERYTHING
