additional costs need to be upfront

it makes taxes easier. The additional costs such as to file state return and e-file return cost requirements need to be stated at the beginning not after the process is already completed

Fast and accurate

My first time using the software to prepare small business tax return, very satisfied so far with the easy to use software, you can create a professional return in a few minutes. I used to have it done by an accountant which was not cheap, this year I decided to give a try to the Turbo Tax software, hoping all will be good!

Reconcile M-1 & M-2 could be better

Every year I struggle to get M-1 & M-2 in Balance Sometimes it is Federal Tax sometimes rounding

Bad interface between corporate and individua

The Federal was supposed to be free and cost me $200. The corporate tax app was another $135.

Automatically selected wrong date. Parts Difficul

The program selected the wrong dates for my taxes and I had to hunt through pages to fix it. I have an undergraduate business degree with 20+ hours of accounting and still found parts difficult and explanations confusing. Heaven help an ordinary person. I did find it easier than "going on my own." I have been using the individual version for 20 years.

Turbo Tax takes the worry out of tax filing

Turbo Tax is extremely intuitive and easy to use. You can let it guide you step by step or you can jump directly to the form or worksheet you need. It links the forms correctly and data flows to the correct form from the worksheet or other forms. It is a huge timesaver and takes much of the guesswork out of the process.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
