Nice but the state return page is quite tricky

For Texas, should this be just skipped? like personal tax? If we are talking about the unemployment filing, would be nice indicate that.

Simple Process

Made the entire process quick and easy! The only problem I have is with integrating with Online Quick Books. The inability of Turbo Tax to integrate easily with the online version is not stated prior to purchase of the product.

It's difficult for me to figure out programs I need. It would be nice if TurboTax would recall for me what I used last year and ask if anything has changed.

I've used Turbo Tax and other tax prep software. None are perfect, especially on the state returns. But I've gotten used to TT over the years and can hard-wire where needed, and know what diagnostics to ignore and which need to be heeded.

Struggled to file my ammended business return.

Software did not recognize I was trying to file an ammended business return. Couldn't find the address to send the Federal return by mail. Wrote "Ammended" on top of every IRS form. Had to line-out the signature date and write the ammended date in. Not sure I have done anything correctly. Not looking forward to my IRS audit!

Good software but light on help

This is a good way to do taxes, however the "explain more" links could be more descriptive. They tend to make things more confusing and they could be way more helpful if written in laymen terms.
