No QuickBooks Online upload options :(

Quickbooks is okay and definitely makes filing easier. However here are my suggestions for improvement! MOST IMPORTANTLY, there is no way for me to transfer my accounting info from Quickbooks Online to TurboTax Business. I can't even tell you how lame that is. That is the whole reason I used Turbo Tax and QB together because I thought I would have that option! Not sure what I will do about that in future. Also, there is no Mac version of TT Business. I much prefer Mac to PC so not having the option is disappointing...but not NEARLY as disappointing as no QB tranfer option. I will say that whenever I have had to speak with a customer service for Turbo Tax, they are some of the nicest and most helpful people of any customer service that is offered anywhere. I greatly appreciate that! Overall I like my QB and TT products but boy oh boy do I hope you work out being able to upload QB Online inof to TT Business! Deals With Many Issues but without adequate Help

This review is for Business softward. It deals with many issues in a return including some special allocations. However, the help screens and explanations for the error checking and review functions are brief. In many cases users are referred to tax code without explanation of treatments wired into and available in software. The phone numbers for HELP are for consumer even though the Business software was used. This caused waste of everyone's time for Business software related questions.

Almost Perfect

I love Turbo Tax's efficiency and automated system in helping people like me who have no idea what they're doing file correctly. But it would help more if it was broken down easier to plain explanation than legal jargon. More help options would be useful too. Definitely noticed a difference in using this business software compared to the one online. The one online definitely does more for you. I spent more time trying to understand what was being asked, especially when checking the errors. Accessing and editing the areas of issue would be helpful too, instead of being locked and having to jump around sections.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Step by step guidance for even the beginners. It pulls in previous years information so that you don't have to hunt for previous returns.

Had to do a 1099 multiple time online and in download. Since I was a first year company, information did not link no matter how many times I followed the steps.
