Not user friendly

It doesn't offer the same level of clarity as TT for personal taxes (eg, Premier). There are some bugs in it (can't export some forms)
What's great about it: Allows you to do taxes
What's not so great: Not as mature as personal TT

Thanks for Continually Simplifying Tax Filing

Always enjoy using TurboTax for my LLC and S-Corp...generally works great and makes tax filing fairly simple.
What's great about it: Generally very easy to understand and follow along
What's not so great: Had a little difficulty finding the spot to insert partner distributions

Why not complete Program for Personal & Business

Good for business, but have to purchase additional Personal return to complete all taxes needing to be filed

Trust return made easy

The software made it pretty easy to file my late mom's estate return. Was surprised to discover estate losses which go to beneficiaries. I don't know if a return was required, but it was definitely worth filing this return to get a tax benefit for heirs.

State errors are not being corrected

The Georgia S-Corp return tries to force you to e-file even when it is not necessary. Apparently TurboTax does not fix glitches, especially in state returns. Fortunately you can just ignore the instructions, print the return, throw away the blank forms requiring e-filing, and mail it.
What's great about it: Federal return works well as always
What's not so great: Ga state return has a serious error and apparently TurboTax does not fix these

Need Better 1099-R Entry Form

1) There should be a 1099-R Entry Form for the TT-Business for a 1041 Trust. Why not make it easier for the users?
2) Also, on several pages, the overall page size is too large to show completely on my PC screen. I have to slightly scroll down to hit the "continue" button, or verify info. Please fix this!
3) Please provide more guidance with filing "state" (hardcopy) returns after Federal is submitted
4) Software is too expensive!
5) On survey, why limit the "nickname" field to 15 characters? Mine won't fit!
What's great about it: Better than using a pencil!
What's not so great: Need Better 1099-R Entry Form; See List

I don't even remember how long I've used TurboTax. But everytime it's been incredibly easy for me to do my own taxes. I can't quite use the "free" options that are available and this makes it very easy to complete.
What's great about it: Quick
