Excellent overall, State is a bit weak

Had (once again) an easy time with the Federal part. The State was a bit thornier, with different reviews before and after clicking "e-file" and printing out the forms; and a bit light on explanations when things didn't seem to match.

have used turbo tax business for about 10 years. This year it did not have one of the two that I did for years. and it was not on old records either. I had to reenter the old data.

Trust Tax Return

Generally fairly easy to use. I sold land this year and had trouble. However, Gerald, from TurboTax was able to get me to the correct road.

I would like better documentation and explanations

Very difficult to track how calculations are made and also very difficult to assure that a specific entry carried through to all calculations required.

Good program. Hard to install

I have no problems withthe actual program. I find it easy to use and have done so for 15 to 20 years. However, the last three years the program has been difficult to load, either from the CD or through download. I get multiple error codes and the solutions are not always straight forward and often do not work. I use Windows 10 and I think that by now Intuit could have solved their issues interfacing with this operating system. This year it took about 8 hours of troubleshooting, online research, rebooting and reloading before I was successfully able to load the program. Enough to make me want to switch to another service.
