Fed Software is great -State Returns too expensive

Federal Software is fully featured & works for a variety of entity types, including Estates.
- but if you have 2-3 entity types ...
- in 2-3 states you'll have to pay more for the wimpy State Software

Works well for completing the taxes for my trust

Works well for completing the taxes for my trust but there are always a few things that are confusing. A few more explanations for the lay person who is trying to use this software would be great. For example, "Private activity bonds" at first I thought that this would include all municipal bonds, but really it's not municipal bonds that help the public (e.g. schools and sewers) but bonds that are actually benefiting individuals (e.g. sports stadiums for private teams). I'm always surprised and slightly confused when the final check catches a couple errors and these are often not easy to figure out but I muddle through.

So Easy!

I was extremely nervous about completing my own taxes since this was the first year I began operation of an S Corp. But TurboTax didn't disappoint. Using the same simple steps and questions as in their other products I've used in the past I was able to complete my business taxes with confidence.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I prefer the online system that is available for Macs, too bad business isn't available on that system. Hopefully it will be in the future. The PC business download isn't as user friendly. It got the job done but wasn't easy to know if the system is correct with the automatic calculations.
