Still can't download investment data

Such a pain to have to enter all the investment data manually. Intuit has the technology to do it automatically, they just won't spend the money to integrate it into the business package.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is current & does the hard parts for us

We've used TT for many years. It imports from last year to this year, saving a lot of data entry. It brings forms in electronically from our broker. It is current with tax laws & forms. Audit Protection is a huge plus.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Fairly good except could not e-file

things went fairly well until I tried to e-file the Form 1041. Turbo Tax did not like the fact that the date was blank at the top of the form. I am filing for calendar year so there is no need to modify. I tried everything I could to satisfy the requirement about putting in some dates but to no avail. It was not clear what I needed to do. I finally gave up and filed by mail.

A real challenge for multiple state activity.

Multiple states were involved in the return. When the federal return fed into the state returns, the total sales had to be overridden frequently to insert the actual state totals for tax calculation.

Frustrating!! No Mac Option

Turbo tax doesn't offer a mac option for filing business taxes. I had to buy a PC just to file taxes - terrible experience

I would have saved hours to be able to download brokerage tax info like my personal returns. Without down loading I had to merge several accounts, deal with foreign taxes on mutual fund distributions, on and on.
