For Trust: Federal, hard. State, even harder.

I've used Turbo Tax products for years, usually they are pretty straight forward and fairly easy. NOT SO for the Trust product that I used for the first time this year. Preparing the Trust Federal returns went okay, but more help information would have been appreciated. The CA state product was barely better than nothing. I had to keep the CA Franchise Tax Board website open to refer to, and to check the final product. I also had to constantly "google" various terms and circumstances because there is virtually no help for the state product. After a lot of work and a lot of rechecking, I was very disappointed to find that Turbo Tax does NOT SUPPORT e-filing of the state product (CA does accept e-filing of Form 541 but only if the software product offers it.) I dread going to the Post Office during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order.

Good, but no connectivity to Quickbooks Online

Easy to use and helpful.

I needed to file corporation return, two trust returns, and decedent estate return. Able to get all done and efiled with no issues.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've never done my own taxes, so I guess I did alright and I saved myself a trip to the Accountant and a few bucks.

Out of Date, Not User Friendly, No Help

The descriptions are horrible, there is no customer service help team, and the program requires you to answer the same 700 questions in a row when something has to be edited, even if they are irrelevant to the change

I use TurboTax for my personal income tax filing and it was a no-brainer to help me navigate my small business taxes using TurboTax products. Was able to finish in a very short amount of time.

TURBO TAX HELPED ME WITH MY FIRST 1120-S

I have always paid thousands to have a tax professional do them. Mine was unavailable because of the COVID-19 social distance rules . He went out of state and was not allowed to come back in. With the clear instructions and guidance of the Turbo Tax Business it was a breeze.

Brokerage auto input - Why Not

Your turbo tax has automatic stock transaction entry from brokerage firms. Why doesn't your turbotax business product have it.
Why do you not cover state trust taxes for all states? You're a national product. Why up? I live in New Mexico.
