Turbo Tax Business was difficult to negotiate for a non accountant. Had a hard time finding where and how to correct items I missed in the step by step method. The phone help I received was priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turbotax Business

Overall good product. I was confused when filing for state, Colorado. It asked for 8 digit account number which I didn't know how to get. Also at the end it said I have to physically send things to the government. But I think the e-file is enough because when I clicked the pdf file there is nothing to send except for a small summary of the tax return.
I will call Turbotax and talk to a person to clarify.

Worry free business tax return!

What surprised me was how fast I was able to complete the return even though the software was very thorough in it's prompts and questions. If you're like me and you use Quickbooks then you'll have all the information right at your fingertips. If you use Quickbooks Desktop version then TurboTax will import the data for you. If (like me) you use Quickbooks Online, I just printed out my financial reports and kept them handy while using TurboTax. Awesome product!!!!

I had to purchase this twice.

I bought 2 downloads. The first wouldn't transfer any data from work sheets to forms. The second worked fine, but kind of stinks that I had to pay for the download and another $54 for my state.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

ANNOYING. but thorough.

Easy walkthrough and fairly thorough preparing my business taxes. HOWEVER. TurboTax only gets two stars because:
This program DOES NOT automatically save and DOES NOT WARN YOU. I started my taxes a month ago, and finished everything up until printing and signing the final page. I already distributed K1s. I went back in today, and the program updated, which is great, considering potential recent changes with COVID-19. When the program updated, it asked for my activation key. I entered the key I received after downloading the software a month ago, only to get an error code, saying the key was already used. I contacted support, and they sent me another key...only to find upon re-activation, all of my work had DISAPPEARED. KILL ME. 8 hours of work completely lost. Tried to go through the system files to find cache or a backup file, but to no avail....I had to completely retrace my steps. Other than that, great program, easy to use, but TurboTax is stuck in 1998 dot com boom with their downloadable software user interface.

I use Turbo Tax for the last fifteen years! It is easy and fast. Turbo Tax teach you and help you to do it step by step. I would not change for anything.
