First Time 1041 return

Does not import

For stocks and similar investments, the so-called Import feature does not work. After asking for the broker name and account, it never asks for usrID and password, never establishes a connection, never imports, so I had to enter 1099-b data by hand. The so-called Summary Entry feature does not work either, since it will no accept "various" for dates

Turbo Tax Business is woefully lacking

I use TurboTax for personal taxes. Thought I'd try it for a Trust fund. The product is simply not as helpful, friendly, or clear on the questions I need to answer as compared to my personal taxes. And it didn't include a state. Only difference is there weren't seperate charges for e-filing, but it couldn't help me e-file my PA return. It just seemed a weak attempt at simplifying. I felt for the $120 it cost that I could have gotten more peace of mind by going to a tax attorney. I have zero confidence the forms were filled out correctly. Key example, turbo tax thought I had to file a return for the state of Delaware. Why? Because the trustee (me) lives in Delaware. No Turbo Tax. That doesn't give DE any tax rights to the trust. The trust was created in the state of PA. But it never asked me what state was the trust created in or where the settlor money came from etc. That would have guided this decision. WEAK!
