Turbotax makes it pretty easy

diffiicult and dont have my state this year

It was difficult to navigate the program this year, and after I spent 169.00 to do fderal return I fnd they are not doing my state this year, dissappointed ti say the least.

I'm fed up with the constant errors

Past two years I have come to log in, and the first thing I get is Error 5639, followed by 5640, followed by 5641. They go away, I do my data entry, and then I can't file a return because I need to update. So, I go to the Online tab, and search for updates, only to get a message that the link doesn't work. So, I go out and manually update, and still get the error messages. I find forums describing how to correct these. And that info is great for a computer geek. But it doesn't help those who are basic users. So, I follow the directions to clear the errors, requiring a lot of deleting of files, and reloading of files. Thirty minutes later, I am still getting the errors! Time to change to another tax filing system. This is ridiculous!

No need for a CPA with Turbo Tax

Used Turbo Tax for years after I found out that my CPA was using it to prepare my returns. Simply no reason to not do it yourself. It won't let you make a mistake.

Glitchy and overpriced

Offers very little expert advice for tough questions. State return software costs a fortune and is ridden with errors and glitches, with no way to override. I would not recommend this product
