Worst than 2018's

Awefully waste of my time!! I couldn't e-file CA 100S due to it kept showing error (Said I need to select one box in Schedule Q Question 1a) and asked me to review. I re-did it several times and always got the same error msg so that there's no way I could e-file it. Had spent over 1 hour trying to e-file it but in vain!!
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overkill for Doing Only Form 1041
on March 31, 2020

TurboTax Business is great for doing a 1041 trust return. However, the trust part is only a small part of TT Business. I would like to see trusts covered under TT Home and Business, so that I would not have to buy TT Business in addition to TT Deluxe or TT Premier.

Two products from Intuit don'twork together
on March 31, 2020

We use Quickbooks desktop and TurboTax for business. We have a simple S Corp. One would think for the money we paid for TT this would be a straightforward process. Nope. Took us at least twenty hours last year to get them to line up. Ended up filing an extension and sending our Quickbooks to an accountant to review after FINALLY getting things to line up. Accountant said we had everything right from the beginning. We did not make any changes to our QB data to line things up, but had to make alot of guesses in TT. This year we thought it would be better. Nope. Well, it took us less time because we remembered the guesses we made last year. My problem with all of this is that our QB was done right and reviewed by an accountant, we imported data from one Intuit product into another, and it didn't work right. We do run a complicated business. I can't believe your product makes it so difficult to complete such a critical task.

Disappointed with prior year carry-over bug 2019
on March 31, 2020

I was very disappointed that the Section 179 carry-over from last year didn't transfer properly saying the amount didn't match when it did. Finally foumd an answer online on how to fix it, but wasted a lot of time with this bug and had to file an extension.

STATE TOO EXPENSIVE!
on April 1, 2020

The process was smooth and easy as usual. With the high cost of the business software you should at least offer a print option for the state return and/or personal efile. You have the best software but also the most expensive.
