Filed my S-corp returns, a breeze!

Love using TURBOTAX BUSINESS for filing my federal and state s-corp returns. The software is well designed and very easy to use. If you have used it in the past the software will automatically update fields for the current year. Step by step instructions make the whole process user friendly and convenient.
What's great about it: easy to use software interface with simple questions and help menus to guide the filer.
What's not so great: None

Federal-Excellent State NC - fair

There are a number of places where the information required by NC on their forms did not transfer from the Federal entries and had to be put in by hand (after finding it again)
What's great about it: Federal is done very well
What's not so great: Much stuff did not transfer to state

super simple for s-corp!

If you have a simple s-corp (less than 10 employees), I would recommend using turbo tax. Step by step for entering data made it super easy to get both Fed and State filed in less than 2 hours.
If you have a more complex S-corp (more than 25 employees, multiple employee benefit plans, ,multiple states etc), or just have a lot of questions, I would recommend an accountant. The "Help" function is terrible -- it just takes you to community of other folks questions. If your question exactly the same as others, you won't find answer. It would be nice if it had a link to the applicable sections IRS.gov webpage (or a link to the page at all).
What's not so great: the Help link is not good

Fast and efficient

This is an excellent program. Once you complete one years taxes, the following years import the information from the previous year and fill in most of the information, saving lots of time and headache. I have been using TurboTax for 20 years and will continue using. It is a huge timesaver.
What's great about it: Automatically completes most of the information
What's not so great: Some small issues trying to download after interuption, kept opening previous year.

I've been using turbotax from day one and never looked back. TurboTax helped us a lot in filing taxes. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Filing is so easy and takes away the worries of making mistakes in filing taxes.
What's not so great: I hope extra quick chat could be added. Some questions are really confusing and needed quick answer

K-1 FORMS STILL WILL NOT ALLOCATE RENTAL INCOME SEPARATELY. INCOME IS NOT DIVIDED EVENLY BECAUSE YOU GIVE ALL OF THE EXTRAL INCOME TO ONE PERSON.

Works well, but...

Using my MacBook, I have to Purchase Parallels Desktop and Windows 8.11 to use TurboTax Business, a huge added expense.
Also, TT does not include the VT Fiduciary Tax return

Took far less time this year, than last year--or the year before! Perhaps I'm finally getting the hang of using Turbo Tax! Highly Satisfied!
What's great about it: User friendly; fairly simple to use; takes less time when used year-after-year
What's not so great: Said Quick Books was not installed on my computer, but I use it every day.
