The Online Version is Better

For Nearly 15 years I have used the Personal and Small Business Edition online and was much user friendly.
The Software version for S-Corporations is not available for Apple Computers (MACs)
The Examples on the Online Edition are much better explained

Problems with California S Corp taxes

There seemed to be a bug or two in the Cal S Corp stuff particularly related to not making estimated payments. I had to enter the bank information for epay by hand.

California State Tax was simply AWFUL!

I found that the California State download is an absolute mess and incomplete at best. The sections were not walking me through them, rather they would just refer me to the state's instructions. The program was little to no help at all.
1. It constantly got stuck in a loop on form 5806...asking me for prior year income even though the form was not even needed. Why should I have to fill out information for a seasonal exception when I checked the box that I don't need the form?
2. The company name kept coming up as being overridden in the final review even though I did nothing to it
3. Then the final review would loop back into form 5806. I deleted it in the forms, but it would come right back again.
4. The whole thing was a very annoying and frustrating piece of garbage.
