Best price on Turbo Tax Business

If you don't use Turbo Tax, its because you have an accountant. Turbo Tax Business is sadly an expensive piece of software to purchase just to do a 1041 for a trust. However the time it saves (versus doing it by hand) pays for the software. Feel better by finding the product for a cheaper price. Don't pay retail!

Turbo Tax for Business 2019 Tax Year

Federal tax was easy, Turbo Tax asked the right questions and filled out the correct forms. The Kentucky state program was not as complete as the Federal. A lot of information had to entered manually.

Helpful but Still Confusing

I could not file my Partnership Return without TurboTax Business. But I always get tripped up when entering Balance Sheet and Capital Account info. There does not seem to be an intuitive way to fix things that are out of balance. It tells me my Partner Capital balances are off likely because cash distributions to partners are not recorded but does not give me a place to record the proper distributions. And I have a sneaking suspicion that the accumulated depreciation balances are not properly accounted for. My balance was off in the exact amount of the remaining depreciable balance on my Balance Sheet - and again, no easy way to adjust and fix.

Stupid Loops

Looped where the only way I could solve it was to go in and delete forms I did not need. Like why make me fill them out in the first place, send me to a loop, then HOPE I figure out I don't need the documents by seeing your "don't fill this out" message and going in and MANUALLY deleting the forms.
I should have just coughed up the cash for a CPA
