Don't Buy if you use Quickbooks Online

Even though both products are owned by the same company and developed by the same.
The two softwares don't work together. If you use QuickBooks online. Be ready to manually enter all your items one by one. -This forced me to file an extension

Great program

Took a lot of Learning

I purchased back in December to get a headstart on doing the taxes for an Estate.
Based on the pricing, I assumed it included software for Personal Tax Filing as well. It didn't = minus 1 star.
I presumed it would download info from Investment Houses like the Personal Versions.. It doesn't = minus 1 star.
I had a complex trust, with 3 beneficiaries with unequal distributions by categories. The program would only preload equal percentages. Almost all of my entries had to be manual overrides. I spent about 60 hours trying to learn the program (and the applicable laws) before I was confident enough to be ready to file. = minus 2 stars.
State return was an extra charge = minus 1 star.
Federal and State eFiling included = plus 1 star
TurboTax name and familiarity = plus 1 star

Used My Whole Life

Love Using Turbo Tax. Only Thing I would ask to change is the ability to pull from my QuickBooks online program and not have to have QB on my Computer.

Looking for a better option

Every year it is the same - it can't figure out that some of my payroll expenses are payroll taxes. This year there was new fun with it including two forms that didn't apply. It took awhile of looking at the online forum to figure out how to make them go away. I only get Turbo Tax because it is supposed to work seamlessly with Quickbooks. Not so.

wheres the rest of my taxes

Turbo Tax is easy and full of valuable resources

This is my first year using Turbo Tax for a more complex business entity. It was easy, intuitive and I appreciate the hundreds of questions and answers. It gave me more confidence that my return was accurate.

Self-prepared my business return with ease!

Up until now, I used to have my accountant prepare my business taxes. I thought I'd give TurboTax Business a try this year as I started using Quick Books, and wanted to file my taxes without all of the back and forth. I found that TurboTax was easy to navigate and provided guidance in areas I was unfamiliar with. It was a satisfying feeling to confidently file my return with the help of TurboTax.
