Turbo Tax Business is the Worst!

Turbo tax Business gets worse every year. I answered all questions and amounts through the step by step. Ran the return and had 30+ errors because it skipped all the questions. From Sch K thru the end of do I want to credit my overpayment forward - none of it was complete. I had to go into each form and manually complete. The state is just as bad - no guidance - which I don't need, but am assuming a lot of people do. Also, still no efile in Kansas? What is that? I know Kansas takes efile because I have been efiling in Kansas using another program for probably a decade. Bottom line - find another program for C Corp business returns - Turbo Tax does not even come close to providing a decent product.

Fast and Accurate

We use TT for both our business and our personal taxes. Two versions - business and home. We are very happy with both, and we save $15,000 a year on tax accounting fees.
What's great about it: We've used TT for over 5 years for our business. It's easy to use and taught us a lot about taxes and their impact on us
What's not so great: The state (California) guidance could be more detailed - like it is for federal.

Great program. Very easy to use. Need an edition for the Apple IMac. I had to buy a Windows laptop to run program.

Decided to use TurboTax for Business because I use QuickBooks Online for my small businesses. It lacks import functionality. Even QuickTax Online allows Quickbooks imports (.csv format)
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: No QuickBooks Online import???

First LLC Form 1065

I'm a CPA and would much rather file using turbotax than my company's software. Time is money and the time and effort saved by filing through turbotax is worth more than the cost of the product. Thank you TurboTax!

The m-1 reconciliation form did not automatically bring over the book figures that were adjusted as it did in the past, so you had to manually put them on the form to fix the out of balance issue. i.e. The Federal book depreciation and the LLC tax of $800. Also it tried to force you to fill out the new employee credit form. You had to open the form and delete the form. I don't even have any employees. These were not issues in the past.

the entries should have been part of the process of creating the return instead of catching those entries at the end.
Overall, I'm saitisifed.

What's great about it: Easy to use. Imports old returns well.
What's not so great: Does not update automatically. Had to manually download updates. Had to correct quite a few entries on return
