Confusion about Designated Partnership Rep

When attempting to efile, TurboTax indicated that a Designated Partnership Representative is required. Then, it indicates that a partner was a Social Security Number is not an acceptable Designated Partnership Representative. I had to go to IRS instructions to figure how to avoid this loop and efile my return. Very frustrating!

I was very frustrated when I could not find last year's return on my system in order to fill in all of last years data. This year, I learned I better save a copy as a dot tax so that next year it will be available to me!

TurboTax missed an easy fill-in

I had to fill in an easy answer that TurboTax missed. The 1099-Div forms that I had clearly showed no capital gains and I checked the forms that I inputted into TurboTax and I had to resubmit during the review process. Caused me unnecessary stress!

LOTS OF MISSING OR INCORRECT ASSUMPTIONS BY PROGRAM. CHANGING STATUS FROM SIMPLE TRUST TO COMPLEX EVEN THOUGH TRUST STATES ALL INCOME MUST BE DISTRIBUTED . STEP BY STEP DOESN'T TAKE YOU TO ALL NEEDED ENTRIES LIKE HOW YOU WANT TO APPLY REFUND, ETC. TAKES A LONG TIME TO EDIT AND CORRECT THESE PROBLEMS
