Problems this year

I used the program like usual but when it came time to print the 8453-S signature page the program kept erroring. It exited the program each time it errored.I had to restart my computer to get it to print. The form finally printed but none of my information was on it. I had to go back and start all over entering my 2019 information.

Need More Help on Schedule L Form 1065

Excellent product, but for those small businesses required to complete Schedule L Balance Sheet of Form 1065, and who do not use an accountant to prepare their taxes, a more user friendly support section would be a nice addition.

Could be made more user friendly

Using the step by step entry I still had to go through the forms to answer a number of questions by finding check boxes that weren't covered by the initial input. I also had a hard time finding out how to enter distributions in the partnership K-1 wks for a second partner. No good instructions in help menu and a lot of trial and error.

The most cumbersome experience I have ever had!

QBO and Turbo Tax Business don't communicate. The workaround is nuts..that is if you can get a person on the phone who knows what to do. There are simply too many products n the intuit family and it seems difficult to get them all on the same page. I thought having QBO and Turbo Tax would have been a benefit..I pretty much had to input data from scratch. All the people I had to speak to were very nice and helpful, but even they were frustrated by my dilemma. Overall a great idea that has thus far not been able to live up to the ease of use promise.

Turbo Tax Bug

It was great until we hit the bug. We spent 3 hours scratching our heads because everything matched. I finally found a google post that explained the work around. It would have been nice if when we first started we got a message letting us know about the issue

I had problems with the 1065 software

I have used TurboTax for many years, however, this year I had problems with the Section 179 Carryover and the note for Line 10 (Form 4562) didn't help me at all. I finally found a way to correct the error and eliminate the Carryover from line 10 and be able to finish the taxes.
