Good, but rough on error explinations

Software did not explain errors regarding the new 199A form well and resulted in hours of research for a simple fix due to rounding on the individual K-1s. Also software did not fill out the K-1 worksheet and resulted in time filling out the worksheet without a walkthrough.
Overall, good software but could use a little polishing.
What's great about it: Great walkthrough
What's not so great: Poor error explinations

WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT IT

Turbo Tax gets better every year. A sign of how good it is and how much heavy lifting it does for us is wrapped up, from my perspective, like this:
I am an accounting rookie and that means Turbo Tax is helping me perform over my head and it will come up with business terms I don't understand (QBI, Disregarded Entity); it will make Amending a Return an initial nightmare; it will make changing K-1 Profit/Loss percentages confusing/difficult/impossible.
BIG DEAL! There is Bing for the confusing Business Terms; Amending a Return turns out to not be impossible; and you can always take the Turbo Tax K-1 and modify an IRS downloaded K-1; IN THE END, YOU GET THE JOB DONE! THANK YOU TURBO TAX/INTUIT.

Make This For Macs!

I can't believe that you still refuse to make the TurboTax Business product not compatible for Macs. Lots of small companies are mac based (like mine) and it's ridiculous that I have to purchase a PC computer only for the purposes of doing our business taxes each year. Every year, I'm baffled that you have once again refused to make this adjustment and if a competitor comes up with a suitable Mac-friendly product, I'll be jumping ship. If you don't want to spend the resources to make it Mac compatible, PLEASE at least make a browser-based version so I can use it on my Mac. Please, please, please!
What's great about it: Able to file my biz taxes
What's not so great: Had to buy a PC ONLY for this purpose.

Make filing so much easier

TurboTax saved me a lot of time and frustration. There's a lot I don't know about S Corp filing but all the information is in the program when you need it.
What's great about it: Easy to use even if you don't know all the details
What's not so great: None

No Support

This has always been the orphan product with no good walk me through scenarios and vast expense for simple fiduciary returns and now no support. What were you thinking Intuit?
What's great about it: It is manual but it works
What's not so great: For the first time there is NO tax supporft for this product. What were you thinking TurboTax/Intuit?

Make a Mac version

I wish TurboTax would make a Mac version for Fiduciaries and Partnerships. I am assuming that you deem it not economically advantageous, but it is a pain for me as a Mac user to find a Windows machine to complete the returns. You have QuickBooks for partnerships for Mac. Why not a TurboTax??????

Will Stop Using TurboTax in 2019

TurboTax is a great product. I have been using it for 20 years. Both 1040 and 1065, but I do not accept your decision to not run on Windows 7 for 2019.
I first learned this pitiful technique with Quicken. Intuit FORCES people to upgrade Quicken by turning off the automatic download of transactions from our financial institution.
People should upgrade because you offer a better product not because you turn off essential features on the existing product.
Now, we see the same thing from MicroSoft: turn OFF security updates on Windows 7 forcing people to upgrade.
Read the paragraph above: people should want to upgrade because you are offering a better product, not because you are turning OFF essential features on the existing product.
Now TurboTax, for some reason, has decided to help MicroSoft by turning off TurboTax for Windows 7 for 2019.
So, this is the time for us to get out.
Now is the time to try some other software companies who see their future as offering better products - not turning OFF features on existing products.
This is too bad. TurboTax is a wonderful.
