Needs integration with Quickbooks Online

While I think TurboTax is a good product I find it beyond ridiculous that it isn't integrated with QuickBooks Online. The process you have to go through to export your online data and get it into a format that TurboTax can use is absurd. You need Internet Explorer 11 (who uses that?) you have to download a trial version of QuickBooks for your desktop. After you've spent an hour downloading and installing all of that you then have to spend another 30 minutes to and hour exporting the files from online and importing and converting them in the desktop version. All of that just to start using your QuickBooks data in TurboTax. Come on Intuit!! These are your products! Both of them! Figure it out people!

I have used TurboTax for personal use for many years. This is the first year I tried it for my S Corp business and I didn't find the step-by-step as easy to follow - especially for the S Corp officers and shareholders healthcare premium reimbursement. There was no guidance asking directly about the topic.I had to go back in several times to make sure it was reporting correctly. I'm still not sure if I filed all the correct forms. I guess we'll see.

I could not figure out why Turbao Tax Business kept wanting to refund my estimated tax payments. I ended up not putting them on the form.

GOOD TAX PROGRAM

I have been using TT for 6 years to do on site returns for a handful of tax customers I kept after retiring from doing taxes. My intent was and still is to train them on doing their own tax returns but their limited understanding of the Balance Sheet gives me doubt that they will ever be able to master the full process. Your download feature from Quick Books is good if accounts have names and titles that sync.with yours. Long tedious learning curve.
