Turbo Tax Saves me $100's on Tax Prep

TurboTax is so easy to use, that by doing our S-Corp's taxes ourselves, we are able to save $100's of dollars over hiring a Tax Preparer.

company i retired from was letting me use their atx subscription but they did not renew this year and it kind of left me hanging. TT-Business got me through a tough spot. very easy except having to input more than if i was just rolling over.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

What about NYS IT-204LL and its filing fee ?

In past years (2017, 2016, etc, TT would fill out and have me print the IT-204LL and mail it along with the filing fee for NYS. Last year 2018 and this year 2019, it is very unclear what I am supposed to do. Since it e-filed, there was no payment of the filing fee, so do I mail the fee in? Why didn't it generate that form for me? Where are the instructions about what to do about this? NYS will fine me if I do not pay that fee so I think TT should be a lot more deliberate about guiding NYS LLC business owners on this.

Clunky and Outdated Software

It was difficult to navigate. I was hoping this would function like TurboTax filing for personal taxes but it does not. You cannot edit some fields and need to figure out how to find a different form to edit the one in front of you. This looks like software from the 90's to early 2000's.

Had to do a fix around for a bug

Section 179 is bugged - for this amount of money the software costs, that shouldn't be happening at all. Thankfully I finally found a work around after 3 attempts of restarting my business return.

Keeps going back to Windows Start screen

Awful....it doesn't work correctly with Dell Windos 10 machine. Keeps going back to Windows Start screen...over and over and over again. Very annoying. Is it just me or do others have the same problem? If it's just me I'd love to know how to fix it...not that it matters for this year as I've done the returns I need to do for 2019.
