I was in a pinch and this program was perfect for expediting my filing before I missed the deadline. I liked the step by step guidance but I wish it was combined with form view, so I can learn the form better. Desktop only is the only option.

I have used TurboTax to prepare my Business & Personal Taxes for decades! It is the product I turn to every year and it never disappoints!

What's great about it: Turbo Tax has already thought through the areas that require assistance and has it readily available!
What's not so great: None!

Disappointing

I've used Turbotax as a consumer for many years, so when I started my (very) small business last year, I chose to spend the money to use Turbotax for business. This was a mistake. The questions and prompts were no less confusing than if I had filled out the forms myself, and I paid an additional $60 for the state forms only to find out those can't even be e-filed.
What's great about it: E-file Federal, They gather the forms you need
What's not so great: No State E-file, questions confusing

not easy to find print button

printing return is not intuitive, print doesn't actually print it only brings up a page of items to print but does not have a print button to actually click, you have to pull down a menu from the PREVIEW BUTTON to find the printer to click on to actually print. even worse than it sounds because it is hidden at the top of the page and you have to manually pull it down to find it. Not user friendly at all nor even logical.please make this easier and straight forward.

Clunky and outdated

The step-by-step form is supposed to be user friendly, but when i went back to fix one error on an earlier page, it sent me down a 2-hour rabbit hole of fixing the forms manually because the system didn't update my corrections properly. Instead, it duplicated my info so the mistake and the corrected version were calculated into everything. this is a clunky and outdated platform. Please update and bring it online .
What's great about it: E-Filing
What's not so great: Fixing an error creates a chain reaction of added errors

Minor issues remain with Guided State Submissions. Had to go to forms but not a huge issue. Access to forms with errors or missing information was good.

Using Turbo Tax makes the estate taxes so easy. I would never be able to do this on my own. Saves so much in time and accountant fees.
