expensive and not mac friendly

you need a pc to do business taxes. why don't they offer it for mac? also, 150+50 for each state seems steep.

where is my form IT 204 LL

I was redirected to intuit to file NYS IT204ll and make ach payment. I filled out the forms entered the info transmitted and now can not find it anywhere. I need a copy and a confirmation that it really was transmitted.

Not a fan of TurboTax Business. When compared with the awesome TurboTax Home (and Home & Business) software, this one absolutely sucks. I would not be surprised if two completely different teams develop the software. Lacks explanation in a lot of areas, much buggier than TurboTax Home/H&B, not as intuitive, and lacks guidance necessary. It is meant for people who absolutely know what they are doing, which is not most of us small business owners who want to do their own taxes.

Poor transfer from Quickbooks

I had to manually enter information from my printed profit and loss statement from Quickbooks. The automatic transfer was a lot of gobbly gook.

An Excellent Options For Us

Been using it for years with great success - no audits yet. If you are not somewhat math/accounting/finance savvy and your business taxes are moderately complex, you may want to visit with your local tax professional before submitting to the IRS; or choose the option of TurboTax pro help and pay a reasonable fee. I never did, but considered it due to out-of-the-ordinary situations.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax is Truly Terrific!

I have used Turbo Tax for personal and business taxes for several years. Not only is it easy, the questions keep me focused on the forms I need, the information I need to complete and easy-to-follow mailing information. Love it!
