TurboTax is really well suited for a small business that might or might not have special tax situations... these are presented in the form of simple questions that steer you to, or around, interview questions pertinent only to your business.

Hard to fix mistakes

Accidently downloaded regular WI corporate return instead of S-Corp return - had to pay extra to get correct state software, could not remove or delete the wrong return, totally screwed everything up.

Much easier than HR Block

I've use H&R Block for years for my LLC business and it has always been confusing and buggy. This year I switched over to turbotax. It is more expensive but completely worth the extra expense for the easier filing process.

Difficult for an S - Corp

Not very easy to follow the logic when the interview questions do not match up with the expected fields on the IRS forms. For example, difficult to figure out (for an S Corp) how to make entries for payouts to partners and to consignees.

Rounding issues, add decimals

Please allow decimal place inputs on individual line items and wait to round to the end - or somehow provide an automated way to reconcile rounding with Book entries. I spend probably 20hrs+ trying to sort this out thinking it was an error in my books and realized it was rounding differences in TT, so I manually entered a reconciliation line item in "other expenses" of my 1065 and gave up there. Thanks
