Reliable, Solid, and trustworthy tax software

I have been using TurboTax for about 20 years now, and I am always satisfied with the results. For most instances it will walk you through each step to make sure nothing is missing. For anything that is even slightly complex, being able to see the forms and how they interact with each other is so easy. I will continue to use TurboTax each year.

TurboTax Business

TurboTax Business was good, but it was lacking things I have become accustom to with other TurboTax products (deluxe/premier). The main thing missing that really should be added is the importing of data from Financial Institutions - Banks/Brokerage - to ease the process of inputting data from 1099 Int/Div and Capital gains/losses. Also the help feature in Turbotax Business seemed to bring only answers on other turbotax products versus the business version I was working in. Also would be great if the 1041 form for Trusts were included in the regular Turbotax products (Deluxe or Premier). Otherwise, it is pretty easy to use and helpful in taking you through the required inputs and providing adequate explanations in most cases.

Problems every year

Your Business software does not integrate well with Quick Books. Every year some items are misbucketed. This year, the auto upload from QB to TT added my Payroll Taxes to Salary and Wages. It should have listed as a special expense under taxes, line 12 i believe.
