I Was a Beta Tester Again

If you can, wait until the end of February to begin your return. The product will not be complete and correct until the last week of February. Alas, I like to start in mid-February. Last year I reported 3 errors that were later fixed and this year I had to report another one.

False Error msg on calendar/fiscal year

AT submission, I kept getting year beginning/ending date error when using a calendar year until I blanked out the dates. Otherwise, online E-filing is a great improvement.

Easy to use and quite thorough. The only con is that TT Business is only available for PC and not for Mac. It's time for TT to release a Mac version. I have to remember and struggle on how to use windows machine once a year for the tax filing.

TurboTax Business is fine for my small business. Over all I was satisfied with the ease of use and familiar with the layout and forms. I still don't like having to pay $50 extra to get the California State Tax Return for the two separate entities that I have to file, S Corp and Estate and Trust.

Myself like many others purchased this product because it claimed to have the capability to e-file. On February 21, there is no reason why everyone trying to file was unable to do so due to a technical glitch that prevented e-filing due to the form 8453 attached. I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years to file my corporate taxes but will look elsewhere next year. Additionally, I use Quickbooks online which continues to be non-compatible with importing the data in. Again, a glitch that has happened for years. Why do I need Quickbooks on my computer if I use the online version. The information is the same. Lastly, I was forced to use my Windows computer rather than my preferable Mac because Turbo Tax Business is not available as a download on a Mac. Get with the era Turbo Tax. You are lagging way behind the times.
