Business is difficult to use

I haven't found a better one so I guess we are stuck with this poorly designed program. Ive used home & business for over 15 years and am very satisfied with it, but if I have another choice for business I will take it.
What's great about it: got it done but had to transmit 3 times so it was late
What's not so great: poor instruction when trying to correct the transmission error

Federal E-filing was extremely efficient. After E-filing it just ended. I had to go back and figure out, on my own, about state filing. The program did not lead me to the state filing by mail page. Very confusing. Also, it would be nice if it told me what pages to send to state for filing. I just sent everything.
What's great about it: fast, efficient

Could be better

Too bad it won't take care of rounding to whole dollars from its own company's QuickBooks data. Then it imports Computer/internet expenses and calls it "Telephone". Neither big deals, but irritating for such a highly touted program.
What's great about it: Language was clear
What's not so great: Rounding, import errors

TurboTax Business

Good thing there's an option to just enter the summary of short term and long term gains/losses, and attach a pdf of the detailed 1099-B. With a managed account, there are hundreds of sales, which if I had to enter manually would've been painful. For the money, I think TurboTax business should include this feature.
What's great about it: Makes filing Trust taxes easy
What's not so great: Can't import 1099-B from financial institutions

199 A is a bit uncertain

Overall a pleasant enough experience filing my LLC return.
Had difficulty trying to figure out the 199A error messages. The suggestions were of virtually ZERO value.
What's great about it: identified the need
What's not so great: didn't provide context sensitive help or instructions
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Feels like you are nickel and dime all of the time to buy more services and why is the NC State not included, only 3 or 4 numbers to enter.

hard to get started

I will buy again next year but will get help to get started like i did this time
What's great about it: asks many questions
What's not so great: very hard to start off not knowing what program to buy
