Not as explanatory as Turbo Tax Premier

I was doing a first year return for a living trust after death of the Trustors. None of the documentation clarified that the UBIA of a house is where you put in the Stepped up value of the house and that the Date of death was the date of acquisition. I spent hours trying to verify that that was the correct interpretation of UBIA. There could easily have been examples of different types of asset and what the UBIA and acquisition dates would be.

Consistently reliable - but does require checking

I have used Turbotax for many years. It is efficient and pretty good. However, it does require rechecking the actual forms to make sure information is correct. Each year there are some things either I missed or the software is not perfect. Always view the returns before printing to mail or electronically filing.

Made the scary easy!

This was the first year I had ever attempted doing our new business's taxes myself. Turbo Tax made it SO EASY. I did have to do a bit of sluething on questions I just didn't know the answer two, but mostly it was just import from QuickBooks and answer questions. So very glad I found this product.

It was a good program - rather expensive - it should include the Premium Individual tax program so we do not have to buy both to do estates and personal taxes.
