Turbo tax backward compatibility could be improved

Needed past year's info from actual turbo tax app to be able to click into forms and see the source. Got a new Windows 10 PC without CD drive. Couldn't move the apps and had to deal with agent on phone for 1.5 hours for him to get authorization to download.

Not Easy To Create K-1

I just wanted to create K-1 forms for my simple 2-member LLC. The lack of TurboTax Business software for Mac was a big pain. I had to find an old PC, download the software, and then it took a very long time to get through the process. I might as well have paid a tax preparer since it took me 8 hours to do a simple K-1.

Good except for QBI Statements

I have been using Turbo Tax Business for several years without problems, however, this year, 2019, I have been very disappointed in the lack of support for showing QBI statements on the partners' Schedule K-1. I would appreciate very much improving the way that is reported.

I use TurboTax for business returns and family individua tax returns. You can trust TurboTax. I know - - - I've been doing returns for over 50 years - first as a professional and for the past 20 years as a retiree.

I love the software but you gouge on the price

I love the software, but you gouge on the price for the business software and on the state programs for both Business and personal. The state forms are simple fill in the blanks based on the federal forms so the price you charge for the value received is 2-3 times what it should be. $20 would be pushing it but accetable. $50 is ridiculous.

No State form this year

TurboTax doesn't have my state's form this year (MT) and that made it very difficult. Other programs aren't interested in just doing the state. The Business isn't as helpful as the personal and self employment version but it's better than doing it completely alone.
