The program works well

The programs works well, but I had an issue with it not saving my book depreciation, which is different than my tax. Every time I closed it and had to go back into it, I had to re-enter the book depreciation because it would always have the tax depreciation.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbotax is OK, but has a lot of glitches

Kept wanting me to fill out Partnership forms when i was an S Corp. Had to overide a couple of things. At the end i had to figure out and go back and print State taxes to mail them. They had no reminder for that. Worst year for Turbo Tax yet. I think next year i will do it in their cloud program which is what they are herding everone to.

Enabled me to do my simple business taxes

Since my small business was not complicated, it was worth it to get this program and do my own taxes. It was still not easy however and this does not import from QuickBooks Online which I use.

Loved the Federal Process / Not the State

The federal was seamless as were my 1040s. The customer service team was also outstanding when assisting with a state product issue. Fix this glitch and you'll have a customer for life. That said, I recommend offering an integrated state bundle like the personal/individual tax products. my business state product never connected. Spent hours and ended up having to manually prepare the state on paper. A refund for that will be forthcoming.
