My first estate filing

TurboTax is a product I've been using for many years for personal taxes, but this is my first estate tax filing. TurboTax made the process simple and had plenty of tips and guidelines to help me through the jargon of the IRS/tax preparers.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years because it's affordable, easy to use, understand and to efile my returns. I'm confident that my returns are accurate - it has a built- in error checking program before my return is efiled.

Even though I found Turbo-Tax for Business very helpful, the "Help" explanation was lacking, and the inadequate. The program told me that I was required to fill out a Form that I knew was not correct. Going back to address the issue, I could not find the trigger to correct the problem. It was not until the audit, were I was given the chance to address the issue and fix the problem when the problem was :Flagged". The "HELP" Q&A did not address the issue directly, but did not address where the data could be entered. The problem was solved, but much time was wasted in looking for a place to enter the data. It took the audit that pointed to the missing data and gave me a chance to enter the necessary information. Turbo-Tax gave me no recourse to find or search for data entry point, or a way to call them to speak to someone, or would it be like last year or the year before in not answering the Support telephone. To sum it up, Turbo-Tax had a hole in its software, and the Support "sucks". Outside of that issues, the program is very helpful and I will purchase it again. I do not know of another Tax Software that is better than Turbo-Tax, but for the money, it would be nice to have a tax software program trouble free.
