Why no state?

I use this to prepare Trust tax returns. Very frustrating that this software is not available for Mac and that there is no ability to use for state tax prep in North Carolina. At least you could make people aware you don't have a state tax program. The package indicated for federal and state! I would call that beyond misleading.

Love that Turbo Tax works with my Quick books to upload all of my information so I do not have to enter each item. Nice to know there are no errors with transferring the information.

Difficult to use

One needs to have some tax knowledge. There are worksheets and forms. If you put information in the forms and the worksheets, then it creates an error. If you convert the information from accrual to cash, the software cannot handle the conversion. Creates an error. While we had to purchase the state software, in addition to the Turbo Tax Business, Turbo Tax is not set up to e-file Indiana even though professional tax software can e-file Indiana.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Disappointed with 1099s desktop

After completing and printing the forms, I saved and closed.
When I tried to re-open to re-print an additional form, I had to re-enter all the information -- none was saved!

Huge disappointment

Not nearly as full-featured as the personal version of TurboTax. Not available on the web, also no Mac version. Says it's compatible with QuickBooks, but it is not if you use QuickBooks for Mac like I do. Delays in filing forms. Had to purchase the state return as an add-on. Won't use again.
