TurboTax For Me

I never really write reviews, but I do appreciate them and was compelled to write one about TurboTax. I've used TurboTax for the past several years to complete my business taxes, but was given a free download to H&R Block's business program this year, and thinking that they have to be similar enough, I decided to give it a whirl. A day or so in, I was so frustrated with it and wanted the familiarity and ease of TurboTax back, so I cut my losses, downloaded and paid for TurboTax, and completed my taxes for my LLC quickly and seamlessly. In my opinion, TurboTax's interface and interview-lead system is superior to and more user-friendly than H&R Block. I'm not trying to hate on H&R Block, as I've completed many personal tax returns using their software, but when it comes to business returns, I'm sticking with TurboTax.

efile says successful. 5 mins later getting email failed. asking again click fix error. no error. then says successful but not. I am into infinite circle loop.
when I click print error" converting PDF failed" such unpleasant experience.

Business Fed & State OK for LLC

I used 2018 TurboTax Business Fed & State download (not available online) to submit my LLC partnership Federal 1065 and also create the 1065 K-1 forms. Certain fields were not covered in the question prompts and the help topics were confusing. Had to read the IRS instructions to figure it out which I am not used to doing with TurboTax for my personal taxes. Creating the matching TT Business forms for my state (Illinois) which introduced additional issues and had to go back to the Federal to get it all to work. No auto transfer, had to manually input K-1 numbers in my personal taxes. Did my personal taxes using TurboTax Premier online.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use
What's not so great: Some data had to be manually entered, not sure what fields and values
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Difficult to find correct TurboTax version

I have used TurboTax for many years and each year it is very hard to find the version I need (Business 1120S).
It is not listed in product offering.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Not easy to find

Dislike that after filing you are still updating program!! Dislike that when I think I'm done and ready to efile...your forms aren't ready. First year with more issues than usual.

The only down side is that when there is a summary or a year to year comparison I cannot print it. I like to keep it in my folder.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and does the math

Works Every Year

I've been using Turbotax Business over the last 12 years specifically for Trust and Estate taxes. I have not had any issues with this program and have saved a significant amount of money by not having to employ a tax consultant. 12 years later, my trust and estate load has been reduced from 8 filings to two. This program is still a great value. Turbotax has worked for me every single year.
What's great about it: Easy to download, update, access, work with & comes with support
What's not so great: Trust taxes are difficult. There are usually a couple of items that need to be filled in by over rides.

Great Business App

The 2018 product is as good as TurboTax always is. This was a breeze with the new interview order. Very easy to move through unnecessary filing portions.
What's great about it: Simple, Easy, Thourough
