Was going back and forth between the mini and the full size food processor. I regret getting the mini. It's not as powerful, I need to process the food in there for at least double or triple the time I would need in a full size, the design of the blade makes it very hard to take off or switch without poking myself and bleeding. It starts to smell like burning rubber after using it for more than a minute. I wish I had gotten the full size and would recommend you to do the same.

I purchased this product to replace my 40 year old Sunbeam Oskar. I found the Cuisinart to be very inefficient. When I made some hummus in it, after adding the garbanzo beans in stages, the recipe called for adding garlic after processing the beans. When I transferred the hummus to a container, the garlic was still whole. I decided to take the Cuisinart to Goodwill and keep my powerful Oskar.

It works so much better than both the first model of the mini Cuisinart and much, much better than the Kitchen Aid mini chopper. Food actually gets chopped; the blade is actually in the right place (touching the bottom of the bowl) to get the jobs done.

It’s great for quick chopping prep, versus by hand and a knife. Especially if you have a lot of vegetables to do. I love it! So glad I finally decided to get it.
It’s also perfect for sauces, mixing batters and making mashed cauliflower, blending salad dressings. The small size is perfect so I don’t have to use my full size one.
Highly recommended!
