This mini prep is the best. I use it to make my salad dressings, when I need small amounts of chopped onions, carrots, minced garlic or herbs. plus it's easy to clean as well as easy to store.
I've been using the mini prep for many years, my white one. However I dropped the cover and a piece broke off and you can't use the prep without the right cover. (A safety feature) So I was on the hunt for a replacement cover which I couldn't find so instead I replaced my machine, the only difference is the color. This is one gadget I would find difficult to be without. It works so great.

This processor has a small footprint but does an outstanding job. I had not seen one with reversible blades before so there is a double benefit and the instructions clearly state the proper side to use for what you are processing. The fact that the parts can go in the dishwasher is an added bonus.

I bought this gadget, to replace the old one, that is almost identical, and 20yrs old.So this review is for the old one, I think, and hopefully the new one is going to be just as good.
It is still working fine, but I thought one day it might quit on me. Since the first one was so great, and still is, thought I get one before they stop making it. I really used it for a lot of different things, including nuts, of different kinds, which might not have
been a good idea, but don't think it did any damage. I did a test, put the same amount and same ingredients in both the old and the new one, same result, on both, time wise and quality, after so many yrs usage the old one still performs like
new! So this new one should be my last, am 70yrs old!

This my second mini prep 21 oz processor. Oh, there is nothing wrong with the first one (it's over 20 years old,) it still runs superbly. I recently moved and it's in storage and I can't get to it, so I replaced it and will give it to my grand daughter when I finally get to unpacking the storage. I love the convenience of this product. I also own a full sized Cuisinart processor, but when I only need to process a small amount, this little guy does the trick. Can't beat the price, for the quality of Cuisinart!

Love this little chopper, only problem is it doesn't actually dice food as normal dicing would be, it pretty much minces everything and that's on low! I imagine on high it would and I believe does emulsify everything! So if you don't mind mincing its great but if you preferdicing also this may not be the one you want.
