I have a had my Thinkpad 470 for over three years and have had no problems. It is my work laptop and I travel a lot, nationally and internationally. Solid reliable laptop with good support and that is why I choose a T490 for family personal laptop.

The laptop itself is fantastic. Shipping was a nightmare - it took more than 25 days from order placement until order received. An online chat after 15 days and a phone call after 20 days and I was not provided anything more than "call us back in 3 business days for an update".

Disappointing product quality, the screen has faulty pixels, the keyboard keys are hit and miss in terms of whether they letter you pressed is actually displayed, not sure whether it's a fault issue or the keyboard is of low quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
