All of our employees are very satisfied with the lightweight form factor, and some simple upgrades, such as the backlit keyboard, which we were not getting with other PC manufacturers. Definitely recommend this PC to anyone looking for a robust, reliable laptop.

The keyboard layout would be a bit more functional with additional 11 keys - for numerical entries on the bottom right.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) my order was processed quickly and my laptop arrived before the expected due date, so far i have been quite impressed with the t490s. battery is ok unless under heavy computing power... ive had it range from around 4.5 hours to 10 hours. the over all performance of the machine is satisfactory, they keyboard is very impressive. screen brightness is much better than i had expected with only 300 nits and the mat finish sound quality is also decent for the tiny speakers, with the tech out there now though they are not as great as one would hope. the general feel of the t490s is solid with good build quality. i gave it 4 out of five due to its limited ability to be upgraded... mostly ram and for the times the battery dies in 4 hours...
