[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been usinv/maintaining/repairing ThinkPads for almost 20 years, and this T495 is one of the best. Awesome performance from the Ryzen 7, and the 400 nit FHD panel is amazing! You can't go wrong with this laptop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Processor is fast, set up wizard was excellent. Boot up is much faster than previous T410i. Ergonomics are excellent, best of the many T-Series Think Pads I have owned over decades. On the minor down-side, coming out of sleep mode is unpredictable, and sometimes requires [quick] reboot. There seem to be some issues with RYZEN updates, in that messages appear stating they are available, but once you attempt to apply, they are identified as inapplicable. Fingerprint reader is unreliable, but that may be more dependent on the quality of my fingerprints than the reader.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a laptop that had a separate number pad and easy to use. I got those requirements and more. My husband loves the touch screen and tablet abilities. The Bluetooth capabilities are fantastic for video conferencing/meetings. I am using it mainly for my Master's degree work but anticipate using it much longer. I use it in the kitchen in tablet mode, my recipes are so easy to read! I have not found a flaw yet, I absolutely love it!
So far so good. Great computer and everything works as expected. It's fast, has great battery life, I bought it with a touchscreen which is great to use. The only issue so far is that the fingerprint reader does not seem to work with Ubuntu 19.xx but I figure that will be fixed soon enough.
