[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my vaio flip 13 gave up on me so I bought thinkpad t495. love the keyboard and have many ports. I haven't had a time to play with it but can't wait to discover new features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned an X1 Carbon, but wanted a laptop with better performance. This laptop has great performance. The battery life on it is incredible. I can use it for 6 hours continuously in class and the battery is barely below half at the end. It is lightweight, easy to carry to and from home and school.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thin, light, this 14' notebook is all about texture, soft and easy to type keyboard, multi touch screen is very useful, but it comes with one sacrifice, no WWAN. It's a great pity, but other screen options allow WWAN compatibility. It's FHD, but a better resolution is very welcome. Not regrettable at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's good overall, but keyboard layout is terrible (compared to 7-row keyboard), 300-nit FHD screen is quite dull and unimpressive (maybe it would be better if Lenovo offered T495 with the same QHD HDR screen that they put in T490), touchscreen feels odd without a fully laminated screen (in T495 the screen is not covered by glass, you have to touch the panel itself), and upgrading the RAM is the nightmare, with all these base cover latches.
