[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is lightning fast, touch screen is on point, and depending on if you are working on school work or gaming the battery can last a good while. Gaming of course will drain it within hours, but doing basic school work would last up to 8+ easily. Fits easily in my backpack and weighs so little I barely notice it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer set up was super easy and user friendly. The computer is high quality and durable and I am happy with its performance so far! I have never had a Lenovo but it was extremely easy to catch on to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new computer for an engineering consultancy firm that I am creating with other colleagues. This notebook fits just perfect as it is fast, reliable, lightweight and has a robust design that make it great for doing business. It's really quite and comfortable to use. The only con so far is that the function key and the left control key are inverted considering what I was used to, but that is not big deal. Finally, is easy to clean and keep it like new (refer to the user manual in order to use appropriate cleaners). Totally recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third IBM/Lenovo product. My first was an IBM ThinkPad which I loved. My second a Lenovo still runs, but simply became outdated after seven years. The price of the laptop was exceptional. You get a lot of capability for your dollar. The T495 is the perfect size, not to big, not too small. It is also very light weight. The key strokes are comfortable, not too shallow or too deep. It took a day or two to become accustomed to the arrangement of the keys with the home and end keys on the first row: but this was not a problem especially with the backlit keyboard (a requirement for me.) This laptop comes ready to go out of the box. It boots up quickly to a crisp clear visual display. My first ThinkPad had an external CD/DVD, my second an internal CD/DVD, The T495 does not a include a CD/DVD, but the absence of the optical drive has not bothered me. Almost all music, videos, and software is downloadable today. If I later decide to add an Optical Drive I understand one is available. The only downside I have found is some of the external connections. External connections have been updated and I am no longer able to connect my older keyboard, mouse, or monitor. I think it is possible using an adapter. Processing speed is superb. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my new laptop. I absolutely recommend this machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really is the best affordable business style laptop you can get in this price range! The T series with AMD Ryzen has bit such a pinnacle in Lenovo's line of thinkpads! I can only imagine what's next to come!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new T495 as an upgrade to my old T430. I went with the 495 over the 490 because I do some graphics work and the better integrated GPU was a big draw. The performance is about what I expected and works well for my needs. The only thing I'm not happy with is the keyboard -- it is much worse than the one on my old T430 and I have to consciously slow my typing by 30%-40% to prevent missed and reversed characters.
