[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a decent laptop for development and business. The original hard drive and RAM that came with the laptop was not sufficient for my needs, which I expected but after upgrading to a 1TB SSD and maxing out the ram at 24GB this laptop is a champion. It would be nice if this model with the upgraded hardware was in stock, but it was simple to upgrade myself so I can't complain too much.

Runs Linux nicely; no tweaks or customizations needed in a fresh install of Ubuntu 19.10 to get anything working correctly, Arch Linux wiki has information relevant to tweaks necessary for less preconfigured distributions

Excellent performance, versatility (great connectivity options: HDMI, USB Type-C, RJ-45, etc.) build quality, keyboard, FHD display. I wish the provided RAM was _not_ soldered in, and that the battery could be replaced, but this is still a terrific laptop. Thank you, Lenovo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just getting use to my new ThinkPad T495 Laptop. I like the excellent battery life and the laptop responds quite well. I highly recommend this laptop with the AMD processor. I will be using it quite extensively, starting in the next few months doing some consulting work. Someone familiar with the AMD processor and the Lenovo products recommended this laptop. "A great combination." I use the laptop at home and this laptop is designed to hook up to a docking station so I can use a larger monitor for my work. Easy to unhook from docking station which provides mobility to travel with my laptop. I also have a large Lenovo monitor which is an excellent product also.
