Life changing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I visited some friends in Canada and they offered me a nessspresso coffee and it was the best coffee I ever had that I ordered one on the spot. It was at my house by the time I arrived back in Pa. Now I enjoy my own cup everyday… worth getting out of bed for.

Fantastic little machine!

I bought the pixie Nespresso machine used and it has faithfully served me this past two years. It brews each capsule well without burning the coffee (which is seemingly hard to do with these machines). My only complaint is that it doesn’t prevent you from attempting to brew coffee when the water reservoir is empty. Which results in a burnt/ruined capsule. Seems like that could be easily fixed!

Pixie - bought in 2015

This review is for a (Black and Lime) Pixie that was bought in 2015. It still works!
Lately (when about six years old), it grew less efficient in making the shorter espresso shots, with more of the water going into the tray rather than through the pod. It still can make the 'lungo' size perfectly.
It has always been easy to use and clean, and never got too hot or messy.
It is one of the 'Original'-category designs, and is compatible with non-Nespresso pods as well. (The packing of coffee in Nespresso's own pods, and perhaps other things, make the extraction best with Nespresso pods.)
Since we prefer the ristretto/shot size to 'lungo', I ordered a new 2022 Pixie, but will stow this 2015 Pixie as a back-up.
Amazing longevity and ease of use. Portable on trips. And great espresso for six years or so, and lungo for even longer!
I wish Nespresso included Sant' Eustachio pods in their line-up, as Nespresso machines are said to have been inspired by the quality of coffee at the Rome coffee-shop, and also because Sant' Eustachio coffee is low-caffeine and low-acidity (so decaf. doesn't have to be the only option in the evenings).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my pixie as a gift and I absolutely love it. It’s so fast and easy to use I can (and typically do) use it half it asleep. It’s small enough to keep on the counter. It’s already saving me a ton of money not going to get coffee every morning. And since it’s so fast I always have time to make a latte even if I’m running late for class
