I have one of the first generation pixie machines, I bought it solely for travel- it’s amazing! Small but mighty! Nothing better waking up in a new place brewing a proper cup of expresso to start the day!
4+yrs later it still works as if brand new. It’s one of my favorite travel accessories!

Very good for its price

The Nespresso Pixie is a very good machine for its price, you can buy pods wherever, not just Nespresso, and that's what makes it better than the Vertuo for me!
It is a but noisy but I don't mind it, the brewing speed is fast enough.
Recommend!

A good machine but not without glitches

We love our Nespresso and are on our second model of this machine but they are a little temperamental. Both of ours started to leak and need emptying every time you make a coffee which is frustrating. Be sure to keep up with the descaling and maintenance advice. They do make good, instant, at home coffee though!

Small and mighty

Love love LOVE the Nespresso Pixie! I had the Vertuo Next but I was finding the price of the pods was inhibiting my enjoyment. I switched to the Pixie and have been able to enjoy Lavazza , Starbucks, McDonald's along with the amazing Nespresso pods. I love that it's a clean machine that takes up a small footprint. The coffee is so good.

I’ve had the Nespresso Pixie for a while now, and I have to say it’s a game changer for my morning routine. First off, it heats up insanely fast (like, 25 seconds fast), so there’s no waiting around when I need my coffee ASAP. The espresso it makes is smooth, rich, and has that perfect crema on top, just like you’d get at a café. Plus, it’s so easy to use, just pop in a capsule, press a button, and boom, coffee’s ready.
I also love how compact it is. It barely takes up any counter space, which is great for my small kitchen. The design is sleek and modern, so it actually looks good sitting out. The only small downside is that the water tank is on the smaller side, so I have to refill it more often than I’d like, but honestly, that’s a minor trade-off for the convenience.
If you’re looking for a no fuss, high quality espresso machine that delivers consistently great coffee with minimal effort, the Pixie is 100% worth it. I can’t imagine going back to my old coffee routine!

I’m so proud of myself for choosing the Nespresso Pixie Machine. It’s truly made everyday is a happy day because my every day starts with a perfect, rich espresso at just the touch a button. The sleek design fits beautifully in my kitchen, and it heats up so fast that I never have to wait long. The coffee tastes amazing, just like a café experience at home! It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and makes me feel like I’m treating myself daily. Best decision ever, this little machine has added so much joy to my life.

poor design

The coffee is good., as is all Nespresso.
The concerns I have are with the design:
1) the spout is so low, that when I open the lever to pull a second shot, it pushes my mug off the little holder metal - for context, I use 8oz - Double Wall Glass mugs - not a large mug.
2) if I place the holder up to put my cup directly on the counter, the holder has no soft lowering - it just falls down - and since it is metal, it hits the mug/cup which will certainly eventually result in chipping or breaking my cup
3) removing the holder is one solution, but it is ungainly in sight without the holder
4) water comes out into my fresh shot when I put the second pod in.
